The Vietnamese community in Cambodia has a patriotic spirit and has positively contributed to the country’s two wars of resistance to gain national independence, said President Nguyen Minh Triet during his visit to the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia on August 26.
Meeting Vietnamese residents there, President Triet emphasised that the traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia has grown stronger over recent years in different fields, political, economic, trade and investment.
Mr Triet’s State-level visit to Cambodia is to strengthen the time-honoured and neighbourly friendship between the two countries.
President Triet praised the Vietnamese Embassy’s efforts to help promote the development of the traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia.
The Vietnamese Party and Government have always paid special attention to the Vietnamese residents in Cambodia, stressed Mr Triet.
Referring to the difficulties that Vietnamese nationals are facing in Cambodia, he asked the embassy staff to help them solve such questions as to their nationality and education.
Mr Triet said he hoped that Vietnamese community will join efforts to help each other and to contribute more to stabilise their lives and make more contributions to Cambodia’s socio-economic development, while adhering the country’s laws and preserving Vietnam’s cultural values.

This is f*#%king bullshit. More better treatment of Vietnamese in Cambodia? How about better treatment of Cambodian living in Cambodia, and seriously need a better treatment of Khmer(Cambodian) in south Vietnam. Khmer in south Vietnam are getting treat like prisoners. They are the true original inhabitants of the land, yet the savage Vietnamese government confiscated their lands, divided up into smaller pieces for the Vietnamese people who need a place to live. Khmer in south Vietnam are being ethnically cleanse from existence as we speak. They have little rights to live as Khmer. The savage Vietnamese government
mission for these people is to Vietnamize them, just like they did to Cham when Annam robed Champa. The
Cambodian government is powerless to do anything for
those people because Cambodian governments decided
to become the dogs of Vietnam.
It is very fortunate for the Vietnamese people living in Cambodia. The Cambodian government had always paid special attention to them, and now come a visitation of the president of the country where they came from to re-emphasize the "Special Attention" that they deserve from both the Vietnamese and Cambodian governments, fortunate, very fortunate for the Vietnamese residents in Cambodia, and very admirable for the Vietnamese government.
Now, let convey the attention to the Cambodian people getting the attention from their own government officials at all level, including the street corner officials. Let be fair, they are cordial at time. But often, our poor and innocent Khmer people received treatment from their officials such as intimidation, threatening, fault imprisonment, corruption, and nothing but travesty of justices. Unfortunate, very unfortunate for our Cambodian people again and again.
And speaking of our Cambodian residents living in Vietnam, either our Khmer Krom brothers and sisters or other Khmer in Vietnam. Did the Khmer government ever take a trip to see our people there, to see how they are doing there, and to emphasize that they should getting "Special Attention" from any government. The answer probably "NO", it never happened, and it never will. And I wonder why. Is it that our Cambodian government officials have so much hatred toward their compatriot, or that they have so much of consternation of the Vietnamese government, or both. I can only wonder why, our government is so different from the rest of the world.
Our (CPP) government? It is Hanoi's puppet/mechanism.

Tea Banh is Vietnamese, appointed to be top military commanders of Cambodia arm forces by Hanoi in 1979.
Hun Sen was appointed by Hanoi to be foreign ministers because he did not know what UN was. It is the same as others CPP leaders such as Heng Sam rin and Chea Sim. Belive or not they are still donkeys. All of those men are aggressive and ignorant,that was why Hanoi picked them to be CPP leaders. And they did killed their own people to serve its master.

Last years Hun noi gave land concession( thousand of hectars) to Hanoi to grow rubber plants, while so many thousand Khmers are hungry and are slaving for peanut in Thailand.
Thousand of Hectars of land along eastern border is encroached by it master Hanoi. Hun Sen do not allowed any independent organisation to observe the process of demarcation. What does it tell you?
In 30 years time you all will be slavers and refugees,including Hun Sens' grand children, in your own coutry just like our brothers Khmer krom is facing now.
