The Vietnamese and Cambodian trade union organizations will step up cooperation and information sharing in the time to come under an agreement signed in Hanoi on July 20.
A delegation from the Federation of National Unions of Cambodia, headed by its president Vong Sovann, is visiting Vietnam and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL), headed by Dang Ngoc Tung, from July 18-21.
During their meeting, the two sides briefed each other on their socio-economic situation and discussed measures to strengthen friendship between the two organizations.
Under the agreement, the VGCL will help train Cambodian trade unionists at its Trade Union College and Ton Duc Thang University.
