Thai mental problem: Thailand has the right to withhold the recognition of 1904 Siamese-French map

It is interesting that PAD is allowed to hold protest against the listing of Prasat Preah Vihear and the management plan at the World Heritage Meeting in Brasil led by Chamlong Srimuang today 27 July 2010.

Chamlong Srimuang led his group about two hundred protesters to protest in front of Unesco office in Bangkok and submitted the letter of petition to Unesco official to express their protest against Unesco’s decision and Cambodian management plan.

Addded to the protest Abhisit also confirmed recently that Thailand has the right to withhold the recognition of the Siamese-French map 1904. Read the whole article here.

Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said recently that Thailand would reject the Cambodian management plan for the preservation of the 11th century temple during the meeting.

Mr Abhisit was reported have said that although Thailand accepted a 1962 ruling by the International Court of Justice that handed ownership of the temple to Cambodia, it maintained its right to withhold recognition of the 1904 French colonial map upon which the ruling was based.

NOTE: Through this we can point out and argue that:

1. Abhisit govt is absolutely a double standard govt. We just wonder why these crooks and extremists are not arrested for violating the emergency degree? Well, it is wrong color! So I just wonder how can Thai people accept such hypocrites to lead the country.
2. If Abishit claims that Thailand does have the right to withhold the recognition of the Siamese-French map, so why not Cambodia? That means Cambodia can also withhold the recognition of Thai occupation of Cambodian western provinces like Kuckhan [currently known as Sisaket], Prey Sar, Soren [Surin], Sankeac [Sangka], Neang Rong, Nokoreach Seima (Korat), beyond the Phnom Dangrek Mountain, Krat, and Chantabor (Chantaboun [Chantaburi]). Unlike Thailand, evidently, Khmer King Sisovath had sent a letter of protest to France on 5 November 1906 against Siamese illegal occupation on these provinces. Read it HERE. But what does Thailand have to prove the world like Cambodia? ICJ gave Thailand 10 years to protest after the verdict, but it takes Thailand more than 40 years to wake up and with no regard to laws emotionally and extremely claim that they now declare to preserve their right to protest the verdict of IJC 1962. But unreasonably until now they still don’t have any supported evidence except arguing that the border lines are not properly settled, the easy entrance to the temple is accessible only from Thailand, and the French map is biased. So you all do think that the French map is so fair to Cambodia? You must have understood after you have read our King’s letter of protest to France. However, we must forget this bygone, because if everyone still thinks like these stupid Abhisit and PAD, the world would never be at peace.
3. It seems that only these few idiots of PAD that joint the protest in Thailand, unlike in Cambodia if Hun Sen allowed Khmer people to hold the protest on the “Day of Anger“, I swear that there would be hundred thousands of people joint it through out the country. Unfortunately, they were banned for Hun Sen just wanted to save his and Abhisit’s faces in the hope that Abhisit would accept the renormalization of the relationship of the two countries and let the border committees of the two countries to solve the conflicts.
