A golf tournament with Hollywood stars organized by movie legend Samuel Jackson is set to tee off in Switzerland in September, with the aim of raising around 500,000 Euros, part of which will go to Cambodia, swiss news site swissinfo.ch reported.
Samuel Jackson has tied up with the Swiss Red Cross to gather the golfing public to bid to play golf with himself and a host of other celebrities for the tournament that will give three million Swiss Franc to Cambodia for the rehabilitation of the over-crowded Takeo Referral Hospital.
In a press conference, Swiss Red Cross Director-General Markus Kader said tht the golf event “is a model for the wealthy of how to contribute to charity”.
