Khmerization,

Thank you once again for the videos showing the trip made by SRP members and others to border post #270.

Mr. Yim Sovann's speech is quite significant in term of describing the problems associated with the demarcation of the eastern border with Vietnam.

I think the videos should also be posted on KI Media to reach more interested viewers if you don't mind.

Once again, I can't thank you enough for your dedication to and love for Cambodia, our beloved but unfortunate homeland.

This is beyond our imagination, a tragedy and a very unfortunate circumstances among our people and country. The situation really confirm of the intimidation, dictations, and the exertion of influences from the Vietnamese government over our society and our government in particular. It demonstrated that our government is willing to any despicable acts to their own people in order to fulfill the desires for another state. If I am a Vietnamese or its gov't, I would be ecstatic and having a big laugh about it. This is absurd, these practices never existed in the history and on the face of this earth, wherein one gov't oppresses their people to satisfy or fear of another foreign gov't or people. When it comes to territorial integrity and sovereignty on one's nation and being encroached by another nation, at all time and under any circumstances, the gov't and people alike must solidify in one to fight the invaders.

It is really sad that Khmers, especially the Khmer government, are trying to stop Khmers from protecting and defending Khmer territory. The government seem to use vigilantes to do the dirty work for them by hiring them to obstruct the MPs from visit the border post. The bottom line is, if the government has nothing to hide why go the extra length to try to stop the visit? This means that it is trying to hide something that border post #270 was probably planted inside Khmer territory.
