Ricky Martin Dedicates Award To Little Girl In Cambodia At amfAR Inspriation Awards

Ricky Martin posed with Australian popstar Kylie Minogue at the Inspiration Gala.

It's hard to decide when going to a black and white event if you want to go black or white, but decisions are for civilians.

Kelly Rowland wore a fitted white dress as well as a black and a gold metallic mini dress to the 2010 amfAR New York Inspiration Gala, which celebrated menswear and raised money for AIDS research at the New York Public Library last night (June 3). Kylie Minogie, the host for the evening, wore a white skirt and leather bustier and leather sleeves and later changed to short black dress with a high slit and wrap around leather arm. It's like sweet-to-slutty Barbie, love it.

Ricky Martin, was honored during the night for his philanthropic contributions through his foundation. After using his last acceptance speech to address political issues close to his heart, he dedicated this award to a young Cambodian girl infected with HIV that he met while working against human trafficking.

"Today, I speak on her behalf," he said. "This award is for her. This award, I'm going to take to Cambodia again. I'm going to give it to her."

Martin, who was seated with Cheyenne Jackson and his partner Monte Lapka, continually received guests who were eager to congratulate him. Kylie, meanwhile, sat with her man Andres Velencoso Segura! So much for romance on the rocks. At some point in the night Ms. Minogue either had a question or stood up on her chair and raised her hand in response to a challenge of who has the best outfit on. That's what chairs are for, Zoe Saldana.

Jean Paul Gaultier received an Award of Inspiration, and in his acceptance speech cited the condom as the best outfit of the 20th century.

Cyndi Lauper performed music from her new album Memphis Blues and Kelly and Estelle joined her for "Girls Just Want To Have Fun."
