SOS Children’s Villages has been caring for orphaned children at three care villages in Cambodia since 2001.
Cambodia is one of the poorest countries in the world and is still recovering from decades of war and political repression.
Over half of the population is under eighteen years of age and the average incomes are less than £1 per day.
The care villages are located in Phnom Penh, Angkor-Siem Reap and Battambang.
As well as providing homes for 100’s of orphaned children, SOS provides education and healthcare for many more people living in the areas surrounding the care villages.
SOS Cambodia provides care and support for a total of 1,400 people.
