BIDV opens branch in Cambodia

The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) opened its first branch in Cambodia on May 15.

It is called the Vietnamese-invested Bank of Investment and Development of Cambodia (BIDC).

Present at the opening ceremony were Vietnamese deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong and Cambodian deputy Prime Minister Men Sam On.

BIDC began operations in September 2009 with a charter capital of US$70 million, two months after BIDV announced its presence in Cambodia. After eight months, BIDC has increased its capital to US$150 million.

With BIDV’s well-known trademark, BIDC has quickly gained a firm foothold in Cambodia and aims to link financial markets in Vietnam and Cambodia.

In addition, BIDC provides full financial services to Cambodian businesses and Vietnamese businesses investing in Cambodia.

BIDV also opens representative offices and invests in other projects in Cambodia, such as the Cambodia Investment and Development Company Ltd (IDCC) and the Vietnam-Cambodia Insurance Joint Stock Company (CVI).

There are, almost 6 millions illegal Vietnamese inside Cambodia, waiting for a fresh supply from Hanoi, so that they can move up the lather of occupation in business and as well as monopolying Cambodia's economy in a fast speed.
In 20-30 yrs we will be ethenics, refugees and slaves in your own county just like Khmer Krom are facing now.

11:46 AM, I know you are angry but there is no need to shoot and kill them. If we do this the world will look at us as the barbarians. I think what we need to do is to apply immigration laws and procedures. Check their IDs, documents and immigration status. If they are found to be illegal migrants we can apply our immigration laws and send them back to Vietnam.
