Cambodian military sources said that the situations at Ta Krabey temple (pictured) in Daun village, Kokmorn commune in Banteay Ampil district of Oddar Meanchey province is calm and that the temple is under the control of the Cambodian troops, reports everyday.com.
The same sources said that the situations at Choup Matess also remain calm. On Sunday 6th February, a group of Thai soldiers came at 7pm to Choup Matess area in Banteay Chhmar commune in Thmor Puok district in Oddar Meanchey province and tried to evict Cambodian soldiers based on top of the mountain. However, the situation is now calm but the Cambodian troops are ordered to be on high alert.
