Cambodian Foreign Minister Hor Namhong angrily denied a Thai media report that the Cambodian government had sent Gen. Khan Savoeun, Secretary of State at the Defence Ministry, to negotiate with Thai troops to allow Mr. Hun sen to visit Ta Moan Thom temple on Monday the 8th February, reports Radio Free Asia.

In a news conference organised for the purpose, Mr. Hor Namhong said Gen. Khan Savoeun went to Ta Moan Thom temple for his own business and his trip was not related to Prime Minister Hun Sen's scheduled visit to Ta Moan Thom temple.

He also accused Thai PM Abhisit Vejjajiva as an ignorant person for saying that Thailand will doing anything to oppose Cambodia's bid to list the the Preah Vihear temple surrounding areas as a world heritage site.

Whatever Mr. HOR NAM HONG angrily denied, Mr. Hun Sen already cancelled his visit to Prasat Ta Moan Thom because of Thai army, which Thailand demanded Cambodian not to carry gun if Mr. Hun Sen wishes to visit this temple and Thailand has normally decleard this temple is in its territory.

The cancellation means that Mr. Hun Sen is also scared of Thailand and he has no enough power to control and visit this 50% territory.

I agree. Whether Hun Sen sent Khan Savoeun to negotiate with Thais or not is not important. The important thing is Thais control the temple and Hun Sen needs Thai permission to visit the temple. His bodyguards were not allowed to carry the weapons that's why Hun Sen didn't dare to visit the temple. Who to blame? It is Hun Sen because he didn't deploy enough troops to defend Cambodia's borders in the first place. Now Cambodian temple is controlled by the Thais. Hun Sen is humiliated. He deserved it!
