The Cambodia Daily reported that new research, which relies on radiocarbon dating, suggest that Angkor was a royal capital at least 200 years earlier than popularly believed.
The research findings, which will be published in Aseanie Journal this month, reveals that, though earlier historical facts suggested that Angkor was founded in the 9th century during the reign of Yayavarman II, the new findings reveal that there was royal occupation of the area two centuries earlier. i think it is more than 500 years errors. just look at the size and no modern tools and machines
