Hun Sen chastised Thai PM

By Khmerization

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen (pictured) has bitterly chastised Thai PM Abhisit Vejjajiva and Thai Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya for "looking down" on Cambodia, reports Deum Ampil.

Speaking during a public ceremony on Monday 30th November, Mr. Hun Sen also declared that Cambodia will never accept any financial aids or loans from the Thai government as long as Mr. Abhisit and Foreign Minister Kasit is still in power. And he warned that any Cambodian officials who accept Thai aids will be sacked immediately. "If any Cambodian officials dare to ask for aids from Thailand, they will definitely be removed from their positions immediately. Only when Abhisit and Kasit fall from power will we consider this issue (accepting aids from Thailand)", he said.

Despite his strong attack on his Thai counterpart, Mr. Hun Sen said Cambodian-Thai business relations remain good.

Mr. Hun Sen also warned Mr. Abhisit and Mr. Kasit not to keep taunting him because he will entertain them to the bitter end. "I'm not an enemy of the Thai people ... But, these two people look down on Cambodia. Cambodia will have no happiness as long as this group is in power", he said.
