BANGKOK, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- Four prime ministers from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member countries will visit Laos and attend the opening ceremony of the 25th SEA Games on December 9 in Lao capital Vientiane, local press reported Tuesday.
Among the leaders are Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, Myanmar Prime Minister General Thein Sein, Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, and Prime Minister of Vietnam Nguyen Tan Dung, the English-language Vientiane Times said.
The leaders' attendance comes at an invitation of Lao Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh, according to a press release from the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The games will last until December 18.
