Thank you so much for your idea (Open Letter to Hun Sen) to help Cambodia regarding the recent nomination of Mr. Thaksin Shiwanatra, ex-Prime Minister of Thailand. To me under the legal standpoint, the nomination by our Khmer King was not appropriate because it caused conflict with Thailand and will increase diplomatic and political tensions between Cambodia and Thailand. You knew already who was and who is Thaksin Shiwanatra. He has been a convict of Thai's court of law. Our Khmer/Cambodian government must not interfere with Thailand's internal affairs. If we do we will have more problems with Thailand in the future, more and more problems I predict.
Are you a historian, an international law person or an economist? Whatever who you are I don't mind, but please don't let the history repeat again. You said that to "counter such unjust accusation, and to prove our sincere and honest intention to Thai people and other nationals in the region,...to draft the following communique based on your understanding of the RGC's policy for your consideration(Mr. Hun Sen), and eventual or possible release to the Press as you(Mr. Hun Sen) see fit."
To my understanding, whatever you're trying to do, whatever you're attempting to convince the Thai government or the Thai people it won't be going to work for both nations and both people. Instead of alleviating the tensions between both nations and or people this nomination has already broken diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Thailand. Even this nomination was for Mr. Hun Sen alone as a private person, a private financial and economic adviser, it still has problems with Thailand. Why? Because Thailand doesn't want to see Cambodia welcome the one that Thai's court has indicted as a convict.
Imagine yourself as a good friend of mine and you have someone who harms you and your family, and I am the one who allows that person to stay with me or to become my bodyguard or my financial and economic adviser, and that person talks, works and walks with me all the times, would you be happy and stay good friend with me? You are the one can answer to this question, arent't you?

Davan Long, do you think HUN SEN will listen to a clown like you. The issue is not causing by Cambodia. The root cause of these messes are started from Abhishit from day one even since he wasn't a PM. He tried to bar Cambodian to join ASEAN ask Hun Sen?

The new election in Thailand would happen next year. The more Abhasit government put pressure on Cambodia, the more he lost the election. Most of Thais love Thakshin so much, espcially the poor. Thakshin came to Cambodia to be an economic advisor. We will send him back to Dubai. I think you could learn how to play chess. And, then show Thais that Thakshin is just an advisor.
We just create an atmosphere in which Thais people would view who is the problamatic. That is Abhasit, not Thakshin.
In addition, as an advisor of RGC, Thaksin would bring assorted investors from rich countries, especially Arabie Sauodite, Hong Kong, US, and so on to Cambodia.
Now, I guess what Hun Sen do is to convince those rich countries through Thakshin's fame.
As long as the today's Thai government alives, there is no conciliation between Thais and Cambodians.
Now, it is the 21sth centuries, Thais could learn their true history, not the fake history that inflame Thais and Cambodian relatiosnship by those Thai nationalists.
We are so close, culture, religions, races, why don't we live with each other peacefully?
why so far, Thais always disrespect us and Khmer hate Thai?
This problem is the Thai current ancestor would teach or manipulate their own Thais to hate and disprect us.

I don't support the appointment of Thaksin as Cambodia's economic advisor because it will create more problems with Thailand. It is not worth angering Thailand by trying to pit Thaksin against the Thai government because his appointment will not bring any benefits to Cambodia.
Thaksin was very popular with the rural Thai people before Hun Sen appointed him as economic advisor. But now the surveys show that Abhisit's popularity has risen very high and Thaksin's rating dropped very low.

Please inspect and listen carefully to every word and action of Taksin.
In every his single word "YOUR" and "MINE" is used to differenciate between Cambodian and Thai. He love his king.... I think, in this case, Khmer higher officers should imitate.
The nationalism is existed deeply inside the heart of every Thai people while the nationalism among the Khmer is very fragile and existed only at the edge of the tangue.
However, I am personally found that the nomination of Thaksin as Cambodian goverment's advisor is a significant lecture that Thai government should learned and should rethinking not to lookdown the small country like Cambodia.
Further more, Hun Sen is well known and reconized as a KHMER HERO in new era by united the country. He now play another important role to united the regon and can be compared to that of Jayavarman II who also has his birth place in Kampong Cham province as Hun Sen and who united the kingdom as Angkor in the past.
FINALLY SOMEONE HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDES ABOUT OUR LEADERS. BUT PLEASE SAY SOMETHING ABOUT THE LEECHES YUON TRICKERIES TOO. THANK YOU!!
