Japanese Prime Minister issued invitation for Hun Sen's son to make official visit to Japan

By Khmerization

Japanese Prime Minister Mr. Yukio Hatoyama has issued an invitation to Mr. Hun Sen's, Hun Manet (pictured), to make an official visit to Japan, reports Deum Ampil.

Mr. Yukio Hatoyama issued an invitation to Mr. Hun Sen during the pair's meeting on the sideline of Tokyo Mekong Summit on 6th Nobember. According to the source, the visit will take place between December 2009 and March 2010.

Presently, Hun Manet holds the rank of a brigadier general and is the chief of anti-international terrorism bureau and the deputy chief of special forces attached to the military police force.

The sources said that Hun Manet will hold a series of talks with the Japanese prime minister on a wide range of issues.

I don't think Japan PM invites Hun Manet, it is Hun Sen who asked him to invite. A PM of another country will never invite an unimportant person like Hun Manet because they have to spend a lot of money and time to receive him.

One more thing is that Hun Sen is trying to groom Hun Manet to succeed him as PM. But I don't think Sok An, Sar Kheng. Chea Sim, Heng Samrin and other CPP leaders will accept Hun Manet as Cambodia's next PM.

Whatever it is, hope Hun Manet is not the same as his father's deeds if he is a khmer and he really love his nation and people. Have heard Hun Manet educated in U.S as Political Scientist.

Cambodia should be run by the next generation and very well educated khmers who know right from wrong.

It would be better in my opinion if in the future Cambodia is run by Hun Manet instead of those old corrupt attitude ministries or Vietnamese Agents within the ruling party.
