Seemarak na Nakhon Phanom, the mother of the alleged Thai spy Siwarak Chutiphong, has called on fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra to use his personal friendship with Cambodian premier Hun Sen to get the release of her son from Prey Sar prison.
Mrs Seemarak said was able to speak with her son on the phone for about five minutes today. She was worried about about him because he has a respiratory problem.
“My son could be in danger if he is detained too long as he has to take medication regularly,” Mrs Seemarak said.
She wanted Thaksin to use his influence help bring her son back to Thailand as soon as possible.
