Gen. Pol Saroeun (pictured), Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF), has travelled to Australia as part of an official visit in order to exchange experiences and to strengthen military co-operations between the two countries.
According to sources from the Cambodian High Command of RCAF, a military delegation that was led by Gen. Pol Saroeun will be visiting Australia from 29th September to 4th October. During the visit, Gen. Pol Saroeun will hold talks with the Australia Defence chief, Air Marshall Angus Houston.
The sources also said that the main purpose of Gen. Pol Saroeun's talks with the Australian Defence chief would be focused on military reforms, border issues and maritime border security.
