Myanmar(Burma)and Cambodia have something in common, that is sharing the same hatred for the same enemy for many centuries, Thailand. Militarily, Myanmar is quite capable of defend itself. Cambodia can use some of Myanmar military training knowledges. Cambodia and Myanmar should increase ties, economically and militarily.

Burma and Cambodia currently have something in common and that is both countries are ruled by dictatorial governments and leaders.

Cambodia should not become too close to Burma because it damage Cambodia's international reputation because Burma is an international pariah, ruled by tyrants who jailed a world renown democracy leader, Aung San Suu Kyi. Cambodia should have very close ties with countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines or other economically successful and military strong countries like S. Korea and Japan or the United, Australia etc.

let's leave the politic of cambodia and myanmar aside. cambodia should try to be friend with any nation who has good intention of trade and defends. if cambodia can't be friend with myanmar, maybe cambodia shouldn't be friend with vietnam or any other nation who lacks freedoms for its people. if this apply, i don't see how cambodia can be friend with vietnam, especially when khmer krom are being treated badly.

With the same token to the second post, Thailand is a regional pariah and bully which poses more security and economic threats which the surrounding countries should be more concerned.
