Phnom Penh, Cambodia September 1, 2009 — Smart International Consulting announces the launch of SmartCambodia.com, its web site specialized in Khmer history and Khmer culture.
This web site is presented in English and Khmer language. Apart from contents dedicated to Khmer history and Khmer culture, SmartCambodia.com publishes articles and videos related to tourism in Cambodia. For young Cambodian adults, SmartCambodia.com offers job boards where visitors can post their own job announcement or read job offers.
“Culture is a collective memorization and culture is also a future” said Dr. Michel Tranet, Cambodian-French Scholar, an expert in Khmer history, who leads the Team and designed SmartCambodia.com. Dr. Tranet continued “we have spent almost one year to prepare this web site and we continue to add contents to this web site on a daily basis.”
This web site provides a better access to history and culture, materials that aims to link Cambodians in Cambodia and Cambodian living overseas through the same cultural heritage according to Kosona Chriv, Managing Director of Smart International Consulting.
