Vietnamese, Cambodian young people strengthen ties

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) and the Youth Association of Cambodia (YAC) will get together and take part in a number of activities and send delegations to each other’s countries to attend important events in 2009 and 2010.

A memorandum of understanding to this effect was signed by both organizations in Phnom Penh during an official visit to Cambodia by Lam Phuong Thanh, Permanent Secretary of the Central Committee of the HCYU, from June 27-July 1.

The HCYU delegation met with YAC representatives, headed by Men Kuon. They briefed each other on their respective organizations’ activities and their experiences to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between young people from both countries.

They agreed that they would submit to their superiors a proposal to launch a series of friendship meetings between Vietnamese and Cambodian young people at national and provincial levels. They also agreed to encourage both countries’ provinces, especially those near the border, to hold friendship exchanges for young people in a practical and effective way.
During their stay in Cambodia, the Vietnamese delegation paid visits to the Cambodian provinces of Kandal and Siem Reap and met with the YAC chapters in these provinces.

During the creation of Khmer Rouge regime, as part of an agreement, roughly 5000 Khmer youths were sent to Hanoi to be educated. They were being educated the way of the Vietnamese. The term," Teov Srok Youn, Rean Kaboun Yuttasas." Well, later in 1977-1978, those youths bacame adults and were unleashed by Hanoi to take command of the old Khmer Rouge(pro-China, the second wave of slaughtering.

Yep..that was "Youn Yuttasas" all right, killed roughly 1.7 millions Khmer. Go ahead, educate yourself with Youn education.

I see," Turv Srok Youn, Rean Kaborn Yattasas" During the creation of Khmer Rouge, there was an agreement that Cambodia would sent roughly 5000 if the brightest youths to Hanoi to educate the way of the Vietnamese, communist system. Well, the youths became adults, and in 1977-1978 they were unleashed to take over the old Khmer Rouge(pro-China). They are more ruthless than the first. A second wave of more killing of Cambodian. Go ahead educated your Khmer youths with the way of the Vietnamese.
