The border situations near Preah Vihear temple remain tense as news that both Cambodian and Thai military are sending troops reinforcements to Ta Thav Pass, about 5 kilometres from the temple.
According to a senior Cambodian military commander, the Thai military had sent tanks and weaponry as well as troops reinforcements to the area since the morning of Wednesday 22nd. The same source said that the Thais had positioned their tanks about 50 metres from Ta Thav Pass.

Both Gen. Chea Dara, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Cambodian Armed Froces and Gen. Srey Doek, commander of the Preah Vihear precinct as well as Gen. Chhum Socheat, spokesman for the Cambodian Defence Ministry, declined to comment on the military developments when contacted by a Khmer Sthapana journalist.
However Gen. Srey Doek told Deum Ampil on the morning of 22nd July that he had ordered the deployments of Cambodian troops to Mount 500 after Thai troops had sneaked in to set up camps inside Khmer territories overnight.
Gen. Srey Doek said this is a grave violation by the Thai side as both sides had agreed that there would be no troop movements in the area. He added that the Thai actions had caused a misunderstanding that may lead to armed clashes.
The general did not reveal how many Cambodian troops were sent to the area, but he said under one hundred.
However, news from the front line indicated that up until the night of 22nd July, the situations in the area remained calm.

Cambodian troops cannot protect our borders because Thai troops can still sneak in at night like a thief sneaking into someone's house to still a chicken. This is a joke. Mr. Hun Sen should empty his Toul Krosaing Barrack and sent all his bodyguards, which number around 1,500 troops equipped with modern weapons, to protect our borders.

It's obvious Thailand is interested in imflaming regional war with Cambodia. It is intimidating Cambodia to bent to it wants, that is Preah Vihea. Thailand is arrogantly flexig its muscles of military might of American made weaponry.
Nevertheless, this is a scare tactic a bully would use when he wants your school lunch money. It's lunch time, the bully is calling for you. Are you willing to give up your lunch money or fight to keep your lunch money? Will Saddam Hun Sen have a strategy to deal with the bully of Thailand?
Obviously, Cambodia is tiny, insignificant nation and unable to stand on its feet. Those who uphold the view that Khmer soldiers are the 'most' endured and are able resist any form of attack/or bastardisation are kidding themselves. Be you a CPP or non-CPP supporter.

While the reality that Khmer army is under equipped, the obligation and sacrifice one has to make in order to defend one's own nation and people surface any odd. Speak for yourself if you're too chicken or for whatever reason like to stand back and watch Thai do whatever to Cambodia but for me and many other, we will fight if the time to put our lives for the country will come against any odd. You don't have to be a fucking hero to have the balls to fight for your country, just have some dignity and pride in it. Obviously you and many others don't even have the later ones. One step forward dead, we will still march. I'm not saying I'm not scared of dying but sometimes the fear of death takes a backseat when something more drastic could happen if you don't make the sacrifice. That is what makes a difference between a person calling himself or herself Khmer and a person who knows he or she is Khmer.
Let face it folks, Khmer are known to be too NICE. If this border issue were to move forward witht he UN interference, we would have been close to close this case. It's a political game like Cats & Mouse...

Anywho..you've already underestimated Cambodia military strength. You've already been fooled. If Thailand dare to hit Cambodia in a full scale attack with its military might, the consequences for Thailand will be horrendous. May I reminded you the Vietnamese invasion of Cambodia in 1979. It was a good start at the beginning with their fancy jets and tanks swooping by dropping bombs here and there, but guess what, after 10 years the Vietnamese could't hack it. Cambodian force slaughtered 60,000 Vietnamese soldiers, that was why Hanoi withdrew, of course Hanoi said something else.
As for Thailand, by all mean bring on your bad-asses. Now a day is a difference ball game, you dare to provoke and attack another country without ligitimate reason, you're in your own deep fucking shit. Politically, Thailand will have to do alot explaining to ASEAN and the UN. I doubt if Thailand has the ball to risk it.
Hun Sen is playing games with the life and death of the Khmer nation. He must get serious or Cambodia will be shrunk significantly. Cambodia under Hun Sen is much smaller than before.
