The unruly teenaged daughter of a military police officer and the unruly teenaged daughter of a judge were dragged racing in an angry pursuit of each other due to an argument over a boy.

According to Deum Ampil's report, the Toyota RAV4 chased the Toyota Camry in the middle of the night. At last, the pursuing car had rear-ended the runaway car, causing it to hit the wall of a house.

Deum Ampil reported that the driver of the Toyota RAV4 is the daughter of a District Court Judge in Kandal province and the driver of the Toyota Camry is the daughter of a senior military police officer of Prey Veng province who love the same boy.

Witnesses said that after the crash, both teenagers did not flee the scene, but they both came out of their cars and started arguing until bystanders detained them awaiting the arrival of the police.

The teenaged driver of the Toyota RAV4 then called for help. A few minutes later her father, the judge, arrived. The teenaged driver of the Toyota Camry had also called for help and a few minutes later a number of high placed persons arrived.

Witnesses said that the two girls love the same boy and they had argued with each other earlier over that boy in front of the Royal Palace. After the argument, the two girls drove off but later were seen chasing each other until the Toyota RAV4 forced the Toyota Camry to crash.

Police Inspector of 7th Makara District refused to give the names of the two girls to jouralists by saying that the parents of the girls had requested them to hide the girls' identity from journalists.

The police inspector said that the owner of the damaged house had demanded $5000 in compensation but it's been bargained down to $500. It is not clear which driver will pay for the compensation.

They are very unruly indeed. They should be locked up overnight and made to pay a hefty fine. Because they are the daughters of high-ranking officials they think they can do whatever they want. Everyone has to respect the laws.

This is a great evidence that our Cambodian society, looking development at any cost, is becoming crazy for money. It is forgetting that the most important is the formation in values. What a shame that the children of those who suppose to be models of our society, behave like vulgar and ignorant people, doing so scene on the streets. What a shame, what a shame, we are lead by this kind of stuff. I want to vomit, I want to ask the Swiss nationality, or maybe Korean or maybe the South Pole... what a shame, the girls of suppose-to-be our proud leaders making shows on the roads of our proud capital for a guy, as he were the only guy, what a shame! While so many respectful and clever people in prison or so many intelligent and talented girls and boys suffering poverty and with no employment.

well..it's not just the offsprings of cambodian top dogs that broke the laws, it's almost every leaders of the world that have their little bastards screwed up.

daddy is rich and powerful, there is a special incentive for that. if daddy is too busy with his own world and didn't raise their little bastard to be a law abiding citizen, the little bastard will turn out to be a thug, a thieve, a criminal, or a murder.

hmmmm...i wonder who is going to win the court case of daddy little girls, a judge or the general.

I agree. The children of Cambodian leaders should act as role models for other Cambodian children. But the fact of the matter is they do the opposite because they can get away with breaking the laws as we can see with this case.
