Gen. According to Deum Ampil, Gen. Srey Doek had ordered his troops to tell those Thai soldiers that they are given three days to withdraw. If they refused the Cambodian side will send the Cambodian troops to the area by bringing the maps agreed in the Franco-Siamese Treaty in 1904-1908 which were recognised by the International Court of Justice in 1962.
According to the same source, at 11.30 am on the same day, there were 2 Thai jetfighters flying in reconnaissances over the areas where the 25 Thai troops had entered, says Deum Ampil.
