After cancelling his official visit to Cambodia on 18th April due to internal Thai political problems, Prime Minister of Thailand, Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, are scheduled to visit Cambodia on 12-13 June, 2009.
Mr. Koy Kuong, spokesman for the Cambodian Foreign Ministry, told Deum Ampil on 19th May that Thailand had requested for the visit of Mr. Abhisit to Cambodia and Cambodia has agreed to the request.
Mr. Koy Kuong said that Mr. Abhisit will meet with Prime Minister Hun Sen and other Cambodian leaders. He said that the agenda of the Thai PM's visit is to strengthen ties, especially border trades, between the two countries.
