Thai troops attempted to enter Veal Entry again

A Thai soldier (L) chats with a Cambodian soldier at Wat Keo Sekha Kirisvarak on 5th April 2009, two days after the deadly clashes that left at least 8 Thai soldiers dead.

Reported by Khmerization

Cambodian and Thai troops were close to an armed clash again when Cambodian troops spotted four Thai army officers trying to cross again into Cambodian territories at Veal Entry, reports Radio Free Asia.

Mr. Sav Yuth, a report for RFA Khmer Service, reported that at 12 noon on Thursday 9th April, a Thai jet fighter was heard flying over Veal Entry and at 3 o'clock in the afternoon four Thai army officers were spotted trying to cross into Khmer territories at the same spot. All Cambodian troops in the disputed areas near Preah Vihear were ordered to take up positions and to be on high alert.

The Cambodian commanders made contacts to seek to verify the Thai activities. The tension had eased when the four Thai army officers retreated after one hour of talks between Cambodian and Thai commanders.

It will happen again and again because thai army want to do that
Negotiation very good but mean nothing

Negotiation will achieve nothing because Thailand only wants more Cambodian lands. Negotiation will only achieve a resolution unless Cambodia concede some lands to Thailand. Now Thailand is trying to gain some territories my force because it knows that through legal channels it will lose because it does not have any legitimate claims to the territories it wants to own.

Bring this deal to UNSC is good solution.

Yes, complain to UNSC or take Thailand to International Court of Justice. Cambodia will lose more if we keep talking to Thailand.

How are we gonna bring Thailand to international court when Thailand doesn't even a stable government?

Who do we talk to huh? They don't even have one stable single leader for more than 6 months lol.

If we bring them to the intentional court right now, they might have a new leader and our effort is undermined. We simply have to wait it out until Thailand emerges from their internal problem with one solid leader.
