Colin Pratt: Hun Sen uses confrontation with Thailand to whitewash the collapsing Cambodian economy

Below is Mr. Colin Pratt's response to Cambodia's rebuke of Thai Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya's claims that Cambodia is harbouring the fugitive ex-Thai PM Thaksin Shinawatra.
------------------------------------------------------

Kasit's claims may or may not be provable but the fact is that Hun Sen and Thaksin are both giant corrupt friends together.

The claim of Phay Siphan that Cambodia abides by international laws is laughable when one observes the blatant level of government and corporate corruption presided over by Hun Sen and his cronies.

Hun Sen will use the confrontation with Thailand on the border to smokescreen the collapsing Cambodian economy - an old but useful trick.

Well, Hun Sen might be using confrontations with Thailand as a smokescreen to cover up the ailing Cambodian economy, but equally the new Thai government, but particularly the Thai army, is also using border conflicts with Cambodia to divert attention away from political problems at home. Cambodian borders, especially Preah Vihear temple, have become a victim of the Thai internal political squabbling. It is really sad.

Colin Pratt's response
Doesn't make sense!
It's not Hunsen's charateristic, and he don't have to do that...

Th present border issues and the occupation of the Preah Vihear areas by Thai forces resulted from the incitement of the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) for its political purposes against the then Samak government whom it accused of being a proxy for the ousted Thaksin. Now that the PAD-friendly coalition is in government, so the pro-Thaksin is in turn using Preah Vihear and border issues to stir up anti-Abhisit sentiment. Once against, Cambodian borders and Preah Vihear will even more become victimized.

Just look at who this Colin Pratt is. He is a former advisor to Sihanouk. You realize Sihanouk and Hun Sen haven't been on good terms majority of the time. Of course, his dickhole has shit to say about Cambodia just to attack Hun Sen.

Would you be surprised to see a thief stealing shit? The guy has all the biases in the world to talk down on Hun Sen's leadership. After he is a closer friend of Sihanouk who isn't friendly quite with Hun Sen.

I wouldn't take opinions by someone like this Colin Pratt dickhole seriously because of who he is. He isn't an independent credible analysis. What the fuck kind of credibility does he have to forecast Cambodia's economy in the first place.

If this guy was an advisor to Sihanouk, obviously he did to shitty job not to have one now that Sihanouk is on good term with Hun Sen, don't you think? lol
