Cambodia's economy will shrink by half a percent this year, according to the International Monetary Fund.
In a statement the IMF says Cambodia will not make the target set late last year of four point eight percent growth in 2009.
It says the global economic contraction and financial crisis are to blame and Cambodia has seen sharp drops in garment exports to the US and Europe, as well as fewer tourists to the country.
