Deputy Commander of the National Military Police, Lt-Gen. Chhin Chanpor, has been removed from his post today.
A sub-decree signed by Prime Minister Hun Sen on 22nd of January states that Lt-Gen. Chhin Chanpor has been removed from his post as Deputy Commander of the Military Police, but the sub-decree did not mention the reasons why he was removed from the post.
This is the second sacking, after Gen. Ke Kimyan, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, was sacked on the same day by a royal decree.

This is a sign of Hun Sen feeling insecure. He can't trust people around him so he has to replace them with his cronies. It is a sign of internal CPP infighting.
