The Dhammayatra, in model of His Holiness Samdech Maha Ghosananda, under the leadership of His Mahathera The Most Venerable Dhammathero Sao Khon, president of the Khmer Buddhist Monks Center-United States and the religious organization, and taking part by various overseas and domestic Khmer non-profit organizations, associations, political parties and Member of Cambodian Parliament.
The 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights observed and organized by the UN member countries also took place on December 10, 2008.
