Vietnam concerned over Cambodia-Thailand border tension

Foreign ministry spokesman Le Dung. VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnam voiced concern about new tensions arising on the Cambodia-Thailand border. “We follow and are concerned about new tensions in the border area between Cambodia and Thailand,” foreign ministry spokesman Le Dung told reporters on Oct. 16. “Vietnam wants both Cambodia and Thailand to maintain restraint, avoid the use of force and solve their existing issues peacefully in the spirit of friendship and solidarity of ASEAN, for the sake of their common interest, and for peace, stability and development in the region,” Dung added.
