Dear Your Excellency,
On behalf of Cambodian refugees living in Finland, we are proud to warmly congratulate you on the joyful and honorable occasion that you have received the Nobel Peace Prize. The award you have received is the result of your concerted efforts over more than three decades to build the foundation of peaces in many countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle-East.
Although you have struggled with your age development as time goes by, we are well aware that you have never given up your endurance for the sake of world’s peace. With all your heart and soul contributing to the resolution of the international conflicts by spending each and every entire year abroad working out with sweat and blood on the concerned matters, the world has come into realization that you deserve what only unique human beings may deserve—that is, the Nobel Peace Prized awarded to you.
We, as the residents of this small but charming country, would like to share the pride of the Finland with you, and are willing to do our best to maintain the pride of this nation—Finland.
Taking this rare opportunity, we would like to extent our heartfelt thanks to the graceful Finnish people and to your family for your mercies on us and other political asylum seekers. We are committed to leading a life as the citizens of a nation whose reputation and prestige are better known to the world by the Nobel Peace Prize you have recently received.
We will continue to pray and to provide our endless support to the hero of our Finland, Excellency Martti Ahtisaari, the Nobel Peace Prize winner, so that you continue to play important roles in bringing peace to other places in our world.
