When Thailand Cries Wolf

Dear Khmerization,
Great job (regarding When Thailand Cries Wolf). As far as I am concerned, Thailand is trying to paint herself a picture of a good neighbor in front of the world community while every action she has taken so far clearly demonstrates the opposite, which is her true agenda. It is fruitless to continue with bilateral negotiations. We need to internationalize the conflict and request the UN for immediate intervention. The world opinion is on our side, we should move to take advantage of it now.
On the military front, the present of Thai soldiers at Preah Vihear is nothing more than a show of force, a campaign of intimidation. Thai politicians and generals know fully well that it would be diplomatically suicidal for them to attack Cambodia first. Under no circumstance, shall we fire first as Thailand will use it to distort the world opinion on who start the war.
Having said that, our soldiers must remain vigilant while our military strategists need to establish a defense measure which reflects the threat and diplomatic nature of the conflict.
Regards,

Davan Long, Canada
