Mr. Hun Sen, don't choose money or positions over national interests

Anonymous said...

Is it another trick created by Hun Sen again?

Why does Hun Sen release new data (300 km2) to the public?

He has two purposes.

1. To gain more supports from innocent Cambodians who did not know clearly about the map.

- Some Cambodians might think, "Ah Ha, we got more 300 km2, we don't lose land to Vietnam but gain more. Yeah!!!!".

- Some educated Cambodians think, "who give a damn to how do those map technicians measure Cambodian lands' area?" Why?

The most important thing is not about the measurement. It is about the LOCATIONS or the BORDERLINES between two countries. In another word, we can say, "the evidence based on the real area occupied by people or location of the borderline!"

We can calculate a map based on different mathematical measurement. What is the standard deviation of the area that Hun Sen's map technicians has been using? we still don't know.

2. To try to legitimise the map that he created with Vietnam in 1982-1985, hoping that border critics in the future will shut their mouths up about the lost lands and maritime territories.

Why it is so important?

As a routine, from one election to another, Hun Sen usually forces people to accept what he thought is right by making propaganda in Cambodia. First tactic is to publicize the sensitive issue like this border issue. Secondly, let his puppets to spread the propaganda to gain the supports for his idea. He uses a "wait and see" tactic. Is there any strong oppositions to this issue? If there is not much oppositions to the issue, he will move to another step further, like the amendment of the national constitution.

Over all, I am just a Khmer like other people. We were not smart enough to seek the supports of the two superpowers. We were too naive to allow ourselves to be swallowed by neighboring countries, little by little. We were naive to lose our brothers and sisters because of we chose the wrong tendency.

I hope we Cambodians will be more brilliant at least on the understanding of what it is right or wrong. Don't sell your virtue. Don't be fooled with those drugs/night clubs/prostitutes. Don't choose money or positions in the government over national interests and long-lasting prosperity.

Excellent analysis. You can be Hun Sen's friend because you know a lot about him.

I don't believe Vietnamese would never give back land to Cambodia. Their whole history is to divide and conquer.
Border delamination is one and the actual border posts are anothers. Until we have a truely neutral border survey teams from European Union and then I will believe. I will supported CPP 100% if it true we didn't loose 1mm of land and sea borders.

I think it's Hun Sen's trick and lies to fool the Khmer people and international community to whitewash his traitorous acts in giving Khmer lands to Vietnam.
He gave a lot of Khmer lands to Vietnam under the 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985 and 2005 treaties, so he has to invent something to cover up his treasonous crimes.

Very insightful and intriguing analysis. Thank you.

We don't need expertise in border demarcation or 8 hrs and 20 minutes of one-sided 'explanations' to surmise that had Vietnam been sincere in conducting a fair and equitable border marking exercise it would have invited third neutral parties along to witness and guide the entire process since day one to ensure that it would be so. This involvement would be all the more paramount and necessary given Vietnam's historical hand in creating and sustaining the existence of the current Phnom Penh regime.

Vietnamese will never abandon what had been working for them for centuries. These are:

1. Play nice to get the host country completely trustful in them. Many times had their beautiful daughters & wives go have a relationship with a very influential person of that host country.

2. Populations invasion and interracial marriages to the native, through decades the natives will be minority in their own country.Such as Cambodia & Laos if we don't correct in time. When they are majority they will conquer that land through uprising such as Kampuchea Krom.

3. Played the leaders of that host country one against anothers such as Khmers royals present & centuries ago.

4. When the time is right created a dispute and get that host country to attack them first such as Khmer Rough times, then an armed forces full invasion to set up a puppet regime such as CPP.

5. Using super powers to accomplish their dirty goals of conquer land. Vietnsmese are more dangerous to Cambodia than Thailand. They dispised our cultures unlike Siam they integrated our peoples, cultures. WE NEED ALWAYS KEEP EYES ON THIS EASTERN NEIGHBOR but we also must try to live in peace with them for enternity. We can't pack up our belonging and just move. They will be our thief neighbor for life

Dear School of Vice
and 3:59 AM,

We, Khmers must be pro-active.
We must stop and destroy Yuon's expansionism and annexation of our country.
Yuon's strategy is simple, the old
" Divide and Conquer ".
Yuon divided Khmers by installing puppet Hun Sen. Then, the conquering, if not stopped is in steady motion.
To fight back, we already have the needed weapon: UNITY.
Because of the lack of unity, we
lost the Khmer Empire, Kampuchea Krom, etc...
In addition, we were subjected to the Khmer genocide, and now the 99 year leases of our lands and other national resources to Yuon.

If we unite, as a nation we can do the followings:

1. Take Vietnam to the International Courts of Justice at The Hague for installing a puppet government in a neighboring country ( Cambodia ) with the INTENT to annex that country, or part of.

2. Should Vietnam invade Cambodia, we can request the UN to convene an emergency session to immediately impose a ceasefire.
We can even later prosecute Hanoi's key leaders at the ICC.

3. Control our own destiny.
We no longer make improvements on the Landlord's property. We all are
assured after 99 years, Cambodia still belongs to Cambodians, and only Cambodians.
With good leadership, education and training, Cambodia can joint the Digital Age, advance in industrialization and cyber technology.

YES, Khmers can and will defeat Yuon, if and only if KHMERS UNITE !!!

Long Live Kampuchea !!!

Yes if we're united, Khmers can kick out any invaders. The problem is Khmers are not united now and not likely in the future. The reason is, a big part of the Khmers are now mixed with youns. Those CPP children will never want unity. If they ever lost the government, they will threaten to break off Cambodia in half and take the eastern part. Remember this almost happened before with Hun Sen and Ranariddh. Hun Sen threatened to break off the eastern half and that's why Ranariddh let him be second prime minister. So unless we're will to break up the country, there is no way for unity, maybe except for the break up, and the western half will be democratic and united. The problem is CPP will be stupid and let our eastern half fall to youns.

The rule of laws must be obeyed and enforce to those who breaks the laws must be prosecuted to the fullest of the laws.American fabric structures are holding together by rule of laws, thatwise, all people are subject to the rule of laws,no one is above the laws.In order to be a strong country the rule of law must be enforced.Cpp offspring are not a problem,we must prosecute anyone whoever breaks the law rich, poor,Cpp or democrat alike, justice for all....
